  I moved to the area and needed auto repair. Joe could not diagnose the problem in my car. He gave it a rather spendy tune up, did some diagnostics with his fancy new electronic equipment, new wiper blades, some other diagnostics and sent me on my way. It began stalling again so I took it back to Joe's Auto. Joe said it might be an exhaust issue. It would cost me over $800 and they'd have to keep my car in their shop for 2 weeks and work on it when they "found the time to get to it." Who gives up their only car for 2 weeks waiting for a mechanic to get around to looking at it? So I took my vehicle to my old mechanic from where I used to live. He immediately found some shredded exhaust hoses that Joe's Auto didn't check. My old mechanic had it fixed in 90 minutes for less than $100. I would not go back to Joe's Auto unless you need a simple tune up or some fancy wiper blades and have money to burn. Sometimes mechanics take advantage of people who don't know a lot about cars. I'm not saying this is the case but I do not feel I was dealing with an honest assessment of my vehicle.
